Welcome to the Postpartum Health Class where we get candid about birth healing. Dr. Maria, a Women’s Health Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, will educate and guide all momma's back to health.
We will focus on assessing and healing diastasis recti as well as how to start exercising early on. We will also review common pelvic floor dysfunctions post vaginal and abdominal birth, such as pelvic heaviness, pain and urinary leakage when coughing, sneezing, laughing, jumping or running. Furthermore, we will review postpartum nutrient deficiencies and how proper diet and supplementation can help cease symptoms. Postpartum is so much more than just one visit to the OBGYN at 6 weeks. It can take 1-2 years and beyond for hormones to regulate. So if you feel you are struggling, come join Dr. Maria to learn how you can feel right again.
Babies are welcome to join!
